Ibra Auto LLC is a small, family-owned auto dealer and body shop in north Austin. We have been buying junk cars and fixing wrecked ones at our Daisy Drive location since 2010. No franchise, no aggregator, no out-of-state ownership — just a local crew that picks up the phone, gives you a real number, and hands over cash the same day.
Our Story
We opened the Daisy Drive shop in 2010. At the time, most of the "cash for junk cars" calls in Austin went to lead-aggregator websites that resold your information to whichever scrapper happened to bid highest that morning. The price you were quoted on the phone and the price you actually received were rarely the same number. We started Ibra Auto LLC with a simple rule: the offer over the phone is the cash in your hand at pickup. We have not broken that rule.
Over the years, we have grown from a single tow truck to a flatbed fleet that covers Austin and 19 surrounding cities, and the body shop has expanded into a full collision and mechanical repair operation alongside the junk car side of the business. Most of our work still comes from word of mouth — neighbors who sold us a car five years ago calling back when their kid totals their first vehicle, or referrals from Austin mechanics who do not buy junk cars themselves and pass our number along.
We are still owner-operated. The person who quotes the body shop estimate is the person doing the repair. The person you talk to on the phone about your junk car is the person showing up in the tow truck. There is no service writer markup, no corporate office siphoning a percentage, no "processing fee." If something goes wrong, the buck stops with us and we make it right.
