The Whole Process, Start to Finish
Most sellers go from first phone call to cash in hand in a single afternoon. Here is exactly what happens at each stage.
Step 1 — Call, text, or fill the form
Tell us the year, make, model, location, and a quick rundown of the condition (running, wrecked, missing parts, sitting for years). Two minutes on the phone is enough. If you can text 2–3 photos, even better — it lets us give a more accurate number.
You can reach us by phone, text, WhatsApp, or the website quote form. Photos are not required, but they help when the car has unusual condition issues like accident damage or major rust.
Step 2 — Get a real cash offer
We give a firm number on the phone — not a "starting from" range. The price reflects current scrap pricing, the weight and metals of the vehicle, the parts still on it, and whether it runs.
The number we say on the phone is the number you receive in cash at pickup. If anything changes that affects the offer (parts removed, car relocated, title issue), we tell you before we drive out.
Step 3 — Schedule pickup
Same-day is standard for Austin proper, usually within 2–4 hours of you saying yes. Surrounding cities like Round Rock, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, and Kyle are typically same-day if you call before noon.
You do not have to be home. If you leave the title in the glovebox and the keys somewhere we can find them, we complete the pickup and send the cash via Venmo, Zelle, or Cash App.
Step 4 — Sign the title transfer
We bring the Texas title transfer paperwork with us. You sign the back of the title (the "Assignment of Title" section), we sign as the buyer, and we photograph your ID. One signature, two minutes.
After pickup, the Texas DMV title transfer is our responsibility. The vehicle is no longer in your name from the day we sign — no future tickets, tolls, or registration headaches come back to you.
Step 5 — Get paid in cash
We count out the cash in front of you before the car leaves on the flatbed. No checks, no waiting, no "we will Venmo you later." If you prefer instant transfer (Venmo, Zelle, Cash App), we can do that too.
The car gets winched onto the flatbed, strapped down, and driven back to our Daisy Drive shop. Whole pickup typically takes 20–30 minutes from when the driver arrives.
Towing is free, always
There is no separate towing charge, no fuel surcharge, no "after-hours" fee. The number quoted on the phone is the number you walk away with — the tow is built into the offer.
Our flatbed can handle vehicles with flat tires, missing wheels, locked transmissions, or no battery. We have done thousands of these pickups around Austin.
What You Need at Pickup
A short checklist. None of this is complicated, but having it ready makes the pickup take 20 minutes instead of an hour.
Vehicle title
Texas title with your name on it. If you lost it, the Texas DMV can issue a replacement (in person same-day, by mail in 1–3 weeks). We can sometimes buy without one — call to discuss your situation.
Photo ID
Driver's license or state ID. We photograph it as part of the title transfer paperwork — Texas DMV requirement.
Keys (if you have them)
Keys help us load the car faster and confirm the VIN. Not required — we tow plenty of vehicles where the keys are long gone.
Lienholder release (if applicable)
If your title shows a lien (a bank or finance company), we need the lien release. If the loan is paid off, the lender provides this. If the loan is active, call us to discuss options.
